The real solar system, right now - planets in their true current positions.

A live orrery of our solar system showing the planets exactly where they are in their orbits right now, computed from real orbital data rather than a pretty animation. The Sun sits at the centre with every planet - plus Pluto and the dwarf planets - drifting along its true path, tilted into a three-quarter view. The Moon shows its current phase beside Earth, and any planet currently in apparent retrograde is marked. With the network permission granted it also pulls live close-approach data from NASA/JPL and marks the asteroids passing near Earth, with their miss distance. On a multi-monitor setup you can choose which screen the Sun centres on.
